Write a Professional Email

Draft or reply to any work email with one clear ask, the right tone, and under 150 words: the #1 most-used AI writing task done right.

Write a work email for me.

To: [RECIPIENT + YOUR RELATIONSHIP, e.g. "my VP, skip-level, we talk rarely" / "vendor I work with weekly"]
What I need to happen after they read it: [THE ONE OUTCOME, e.g. "she approves the budget" / "he sends the report by Friday"]
Key facts they need: [2-4 BULLETS: dates, numbers, context]
Tone: [direct / warm / formal: pick one]

If I'm replying, here's the thread:
"""
[PASTE THREAD, OR DELETE THIS BLOCK]
"""

Rules:
- Subject line first: specific enough that they know what this is before opening it.
- Under 150 words. Busy people read the first two lines and the last line. Put the ask in one of those places.
- One ask per email. If my notes contain two asks, use the more urgent one and tell me you dropped the other.
- No "I hope this email finds you well", no "just circling back", no apologizing for emailing.
- Make the next step effortless: propose a specific option ("Does Thursday 2pm work?") instead of an open question ("When are you free?").
- Use only the facts I gave you. If a critical fact is missing (a date, a number), write [MISSING: what] instead of inventing it.

Give me the email, then one alternative version that is noticeably more [brief / warm: the opposite of what I'd default to].

How to use

Email drafting is the single most common workplace AI task, and the failure mode is always the same: too long, too formal, buried ask. The 150-word cap and one-ask rule fix both. For sensitive emails, generate, wait ten minutes, and reread before sending.
