Instagram Captions
Write Instagram captions where the hook survives truncation, the body earns the 'more' tap, and exactly one CTA drives comments or saves.
Write Instagram captions for the post below. What the image/reel shows: [DESCRIBE THE VISUAL: the caption's job changes with what's already on screen] The point of the post: [THE INSIGHT, STORY, OR OFFER BEHIND IT] My account: [NICHE + WHO FOLLOWS ME + VOICE IN 3 WORDS] Goal for this post: [COMMENTS / SAVES / SHARES / PROFILE VISITS / SALES: pick one] Write 3 caption versions, each with a different length strategy: 1. **Short punch** (under 125 characters total): one line that completes or subverts the visual. 2. **Mid story** (300-500 characters): hook, one concrete beat, takeaway. 3. **Long value** (800-1,500 characters): hook, then a mini-story or 3-5 step framework worth saving, then the CTA. Rules for every version: - The first 125 characters carry the hook: that's all that shows before "...more". Front-load the tension, number, or claim; never open with hashtags, emojis, or scene-setting. - The hook must NOT repeat what the visual already says. It adds the layer the image can't. - Exactly ONE CTA, matched to my goal: a question answerable in one line (comments), "save this for [moment]" (saves), or a specific next step (sales). Two CTAs split action and get neither. - Line breaks between thoughts, no text walls. - Write in my voice from the 3 words I gave; concrete beats inspirational. "I raised prices 40% and lost 2 clients" outperforms "know your worth". - Hashtags: 3-6 specific ones on the last line, niche tags I'd actually be found in, no #love #instagood filler. Use only my material. If the story or framework needs a detail I didn't give, mark [ADD: what] rather than inventing it.
