Tailor a Resume to a Job Description

Rewrite your resume against a specific job posting: mapped requirements, quantified bullets, ATS-safe wording, and zero invented experience.

My current resume:
"""
[PASTE RESUME]
"""

The job I'm applying for:
"""
[PASTE FULL JOB DESCRIPTION]
"""

Tailor my resume to this job:

1. **Requirement map**: table: each key requirement from the JD | where my resume shows it (quote my line) | strength (strong / partial / missing). Be honest about "missing": that's what I need to know.
2. **Rewritten bullets**: for my most relevant roles, rewrite bullets to lead with the achievement matching this JD's language. Format: strong action verb + what I did + quantified result. Where my bullet has no number, mark [ADD METRIC: what to quantify, e.g. "team size? % improvement? revenue?"]: do not invent one.
3. **Summary section**: 2-3 lines targeting this exact role, using the job title and 2-3 keywords from the JD naturally.
4. **Keyword check**: JD terms an applicant-tracking system will scan for that my resume is missing, and where each could honestly fit (or "doesn't fit: don't force it").
5. **Cut list**: what to remove because it's irrelevant to this role and dilutes the signal.

Hard rules: never invent experience, skills, titles, dates, or metrics; everything in the output must trace to my resume, with gaps flagged instead of filled. Keep formatting ATS-safe: standard section names, no tables or graphics in the resume itself. Match the JD's exact terminology where I have the real experience ("stakeholder management" vs "working with stakeholders").

How to use

Run this once per application, not once per job-search: the requirement map changes with every JD, and the 'missing' column tells you what to address in your cover letter instead. Fill in every [ADD METRIC] marker from memory before sending; quantified bullets are what recruiters scan for.
