Task Dump to Day Plan

Convert an overwhelming task list into a timed day plan with three real priorities, honest cuts, and slack built in.

Plan my day from the task dump below.

Everything on my plate:
"""
[DUMP EVERYTHING: big, small, vague, overdue]
"""

Constraints:
- Hours actually available for focused work today: [e.g. "4, in two 2-hour blocks"]
- Hard commitments (meetings, pickups): [TIMES]
- Deadlines that are real: [WHICH TASKS + WHEN]
- My energy pattern: [e.g. "sharp mornings, dead after 3pm"]

Build the plan:
1. **Top 3**: the three tasks that matter most today, chosen by consequence: what happens if each does NOT get done today? Say the consequence next to each. If a task has no real consequence today, it's not top 3.
2. **Timed plan**: slot the top 3 into my available blocks, matching hard tasks to high-energy hours. Include 20% slack: a day planned at 100% capacity fails by 2pm.
3. **The cut list**: everything you're deferring or deleting, sorted into: "defer to [specific day]", "delegate, to whom?", "delete, no real consequence, and here's why". Be aggressive: an honest cut list is the point of planning.
4. **The 10-minute starters**: for each top-3 task, the exact first physical action ("open the doc and write the three section headers", not "work on report").

Rules: never schedule more than my stated hours. If the top 3 alone exceed my available time, say so and force a trade: don't compress estimates to make it fit. Treat vague tasks as unplannable: rewrite them as concrete actions or move them to the cut list.

How to use

Planning and scheduling is the single biggest cluster of real-world AI prompts, and the failure mode is always over-scheduling. The consequence test for the top 3 and the forced cut list are what make this version work. Run it each morning with a fresh dump: don't reuse yesterday's.
