App Icon Design
Design an app icon around a single stylized subject: squircle-ready, gradient or glass aesthetic, and readable at home-screen size.
An app icon for [THE APP: what it does in 3-5 words, e.g. "a sleep tracking app" / "a receipts scanner for freelancers"]. The symbol: a single stylized [SUBJECT, one object that says the job: "crescent moon nested in a Z" / "a receipt with a checkmark fold"]. One symbol only, no scenes, no text, no combination-marks; icons with two ideas read as noise at home-screen size. Style (pick one lane): - Flat modern: clean geometric vector shapes, 2-3 solid colors, subtle corner radius on interior shapes, crisp edges. - Gradient depth: smooth [COLOR → COLOR] gradient background, the symbol in [white/light] with a soft inner shadow, gentle top-light. - Glass/refractive: the symbol as translucent frosted glass with light refraction, floating over a [COLOR] gradient background, soft specular highlights; contemporary glassmorphism. Composition: symbol centered, filling roughly 60-70% of the canvas, generous even padding, balanced visual weight. Background [SOLID COLOR / SUBTLE GRADIENT / SOFT RADIAL GLOW behind the symbol]. Square 1:1 canvas with NO rounded corners baked in and no drop shadow outside the canvas: the platform applies its own squircle mask, and pre-rounded corners double-mask badly. Palette: [2-3 COLORS OR HEX CODES], high contrast between symbol and background; must stay distinct against both light and dark wallpapers. The test: legible and recognizable at 48 pixels. If the symbol needs its detail explained, simplify the symbol. Generate 4 variations: same symbol, varied backgrounds and weights.
