Fix AI Image Artifacts
Repair the giveaways in a generated image with targeted edits: hands, text, faces, and lighting fixed one at a time without redrawing it.
[Attach the generated image, then use this prompt:] Fix specific problems in this image without regenerating it. Keep everything that is already correct exactly as it is: same composition, same subject, same lighting direction, same colors, same style. Change only this: [NAME THE ONE PROBLEM, using the phrasings below.] Use one edit per pass. Run the image through again for the next fix. **Hands and fingers**: "Correct the [left/right] hand so it has exactly five fingers in a natural anatomical arrangement, with the thumb positioned correctly and the hand at the right scale for the arm. Keep the pose, the gesture, and everything else in the frame unchanged." **Text**: "Replace the text on the [SIGN / LABEL / SCREEN] so it reads exactly '[THE CORRECT TEXT]', in the same typeface style, size, color, and perspective as it currently appears. Leave every other element unchanged." **Faces**: "Correct the [eyes / teeth / ear] so they are symmetrical and anatomically natural, keeping this person's identity, expression, skin tone, and natural skin texture exactly as they are. No smoothing and no beautification." **Extra or missing limbs and objects**: "Remove the [DUPLICATE ELEMENT] and reconstruct what should be behind it, matching the surrounding texture, lighting, and perspective." **Lighting inconsistency**: "The shadow of [OBJECT] falls in the wrong direction. Redraw the shadows so every shadow in the scene is cast by the same light source, which is [DIRECTION AND HEIGHT]. Keep everything else unchanged." **Background chaos**: "Clean up the background so [SPECIFIC AREA] resolves into coherent [WHAT IT SHOULD BE], matching the existing depth of field and color grade. Do not change the subject." **Edges and halos**: "Remove the bright halo around [SUBJECT] and restore natural edge contact with the background, keeping the subject's outline exactly as it is." **Plastic skin or over-processing**: "Restore natural skin texture with visible pores and fine detail, and reduce the overall sharpening and saturation to what a normal photograph would show. Keep the person's identity and the lighting unchanged." Rules: change only what I named. Do not re-render the scene, do not shift the crop, and do not improve anything I did not ask about. If a fix is not possible without changing the surrounding area, tell me what would have to change instead of doing it silently.
How to use
One problem per pass is the rule that makes this work: asking a model to fix hands, text, and lighting in one edit reliably produces a different image rather than a corrected one. The repeated instruction to keep everything else unchanged is not padding either, since edit models drift on every unconstrained element and the drift compounds across passes. If two passes on the same defect both fail, the problem is in the original generation and rerolling is cheaper than a third attempt.

First, describe what you actually see, in these terms: - **Subject and composition**: what is in frame, where it sits, how much of the frame it fills, the crop and aspect ratio, the eye lev
