Lead Magnet and Opt-In Page
Design a lead magnet people actually use (narrow problem, quick win) plus the squeeze page and delivery email that convert it.
Design my lead magnet and its opt-in system.
What I sell: [PRODUCT/SERVICE + PRICE POINT]
The subscriber I want: [WHO: specifically the person who could become a customer]
The problem cluster I help with: [THE BROAD AREA, e.g. "cold outreach", "meal prep", "childcare admin"]
What I know that they don't: [YOUR EXPERTISE ASSETS: processes, templates you use, data, checklists]
Work in three parts:
**Part 1: The magnet itself.** Propose 3 options, each: a NARROW slice of the problem (one specific task, not the whole domain) + a format matched to it. Prefer formats consumable in 5-15 minutes that end with something DONE: checklist, fill-in template, swipe file, calculator/scorecard, 5-minute audit. An "Ultimate Guide" ebook is almost always the wrong answer: completion is what converts subscribers to believers, and nobody completes 40 pages. For each option: the title (formula: number/specific outcome + asset type + proof or timeframe, "The 12-point pre-send checklist that cut our unsubscribes 40%"), why this slice, and how it points naturally toward my paid offer. Recommend one.
**Part 2: The opt-in page** for the winner:
- Headline: the outcome, in the subscriber's words, under 12 words.
- Subhead: what it is + how fast they'll use it.
- 3-4 "what's inside" bullets: specific ("the exact email template for X"), not thematic.
- The form: EMAIL ONLY: every added field cuts conversions by roughly a third; ask for more later.
- Button: benefit verb ("Get the checklist"), never "Submit" or "Download".
- One line of social proof if I have it ([NUMBER] downloads / a one-sentence quote), or skip it; fake counts are worse than none.
- No navigation, no other links: one page, one action.
**Part 3: The delivery email:**
- Subject: "[The magnet], as promised".
- The link in the FIRST line: they came for it, don't make them scroll.
- One "start here" tip: the single highest-value item inside, so they open it now (a magnet opened within an hour becomes a relationship; one saved-for-later becomes landfill).
- One line on what to expect from me next. NO pitch in this email.
Then: the follow-up logic, what email 2 (day 2-3) should contain given what the magnet taught them, connecting the quick win to the bigger problem my product solves.More marketing prompts
