Etsy or Amazon Listing

Build a marketplace listing from buyer language: keyword set, platform-native title, objection-ordered bullets, tags, and an image shot list.

Build my [Etsy / Amazon] listing. Marketplace search only sees the words in the listing, and buyers only buy what the photos and first lines answer, so we work buyer-language-first.

My product: [WHAT IT IS: materials, size, variants, how it's made]
Who buys it, and the moment: [e.g. "gift for a new dad" / "small-apartment organizer": occasion and recipient drive marketplace search more than product-type words]
Price and what justifies it: [PRICE + the honest differentiator]
What buyers of competing products complain about: [PASTE 2-3 REVIEW COMPLAINTS if you have them: this is the highest-value input on the list]

1. KEYWORD SET: 12-15 phrases a buyer would actually type, grouped head / mid / long-tail, weighted toward occasion, recipient, style, and problem phrases ("personalized gift for dad", not just "leather wallet"). Be straight about the limit: you can't see live search volume. These are informed guesses to validate against the platform's own autocomplete and [Etsy: eRank / Amazon: Helium 10] before I commit.

2. TITLE, platform-native: the platforms reward opposite things, so no generic version:
- Etsy: strongest buyer phrase in the first few words (search and shoppers both weight the front), readable as English, not a pipe-delimited keyword dump; Etsy itself penalizes stuffing with worse conversion.
- Amazon: brand + product type + key attributes (size, count, material), per category style guide, no promotional words ("best", "sale"). Those violate policy.

3. DESCRIPTION/BULLETS, ordered by objection, because buyers read to resolve doubts, not to browse features:
- Exactly what arrives: dimensions, materials, variant chosen; mismatch here is the #1 return-and-bad-review generator.
- Who it's for and the occasion it nails.
- The differentiator, stated concretely (address the competitor complaints I pasted).
- Care, shipping time, personalization steps.
On Etsy the first sentence doubles as the Google snippet. Write it to stand alone.

4. BACKEND KEYWORDS: Etsy: all 13 tags, multi-word phrases, covering angles the title couldn't (styles, synonyms, occasions). Amazon: the search-terms field, synonyms and variants only, no repeats of title words, no competitor brand names (policy violation). Flag character/byte limits as "verify current limit" rather than quoting one that may have changed.

5. IMAGE SHOT LIST: 7 slots in order: hero on clean background, scale shot (in hand / in room), lifestyle in-use, detail/texture close-up, variants together, dimensions graphic, packaging or gift-readiness. Photos convert; the listing text mostly earns the click.

Rules: every claim must be true of the actual product, no "handmade" hedging, no fake scarcity. If my differentiator is weak ("high quality"), say so and ask the review-complaints question again; a listing can't fix an undifferentiated product.

How to use

The competitor-complaints input is the cheat code: mining 1-3 star reviews of similar products hands you both the differentiator language and the objections your bullets must kill. Validate the keyword guesses in platform autocomplete the same day: type the head terms and harvest what completes. Update the listing seasonally by swapping occasion keywords; the same product is 'stocking stuffer' in November and 'teacher gift' in May.
